Terms of Service

Last updated: June 11, 2026

1. Acceptance

By using MyFreeVideoTool ("the site", "the service") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. The service

MyFreeVideoTool provides a free browser-based video editor and video utilities. All processing happens locally on your device; the service consists of web pages and program code delivered to your browser. We do not receive, store or transmit your video files. Editor projects are saved only to your own browser's local storage.

3. Acceptable use

You may use the tools for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial. You are solely responsible for the content you process and must hold the rights to edit and use it — respect copyright law in your jurisdiction. Personal edits of media you own are typically fine; redistributing copyrighted material is not.

4. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Results depend on your browser and device; we don't guarantee any tool or the editor will work for every file, format or device. Always keep your original files — local autosave is a convenience, not a backup guarantee.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyFreeVideoTool and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages — including loss of data, files or projects — arising from use of the service.

6. Third-party components

The tools rely on open-source software (including FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly, the DejaVu fonts and JSZip), self-hosted and used under their respective licenses.

7. Advertising and analytics

The site is free and may be ad-supported. Analytics and ads are described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Changes

We may update these terms or change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
