Put music on a video — with a real mix, not a replacement

Most "add music" tools blindly replace the audio track. This one gives you a balance slider: at the left end you hear only the original sound, at the right only the music, and anywhere between is a weighted mix — perfect for background music under speech. The music is trimmed to the video's length automatically, with optional 2-second fades so it never starts or ends abruptly.

Quality preserved where it counts

Only the audio is re-rendered. The video stream is copied untouched whenever the container allows, which means zero generation loss on the picture and a fast export — the encoder only has to think about sound.

Good combinations

  • Voiceover video + light music bed — balance around 70% original / 30% music.
  • Montage / b-roll + soundtrack — slide fully to music.
  • Gameplay + commentary track — record the commentary with our audio recorder, then mix at ~40/60.

Use royalty-free or licensed music for anything you'll publish — platforms fingerprint audio aggressively. Everything here runs on-device: neither file is uploaded, nothing is watermarked.

FAQ

Can I keep the original audio and add music underneath?

Yes — that's what the balance slider is for. Slide toward Original for a quiet music bed under speech.

What if the music is longer than the video?

It's trimmed to the video's length automatically; the fade-out makes the ending feel intentional.

Which audio formats can I add?

MP3, WAV, M4A/AAC, OGG and FLAC. The video stream is copied untouched when possible.

Are my files uploaded to mix them?

No — the mix renders in your browser. Neither file leaves your device.
