Watermark your video — without getting watermarked
There's a grim joke in this category: most "free" watermark tools stamp their own watermark on your video unless you pay. We find that absurd. Here you add your logo (transparent PNG) or a text mark, place it with presets or by dragging it directly on the preview, set the opacity, and export. Nothing else is ever added to your footage.
Logo vs. text
A PNG with transparency preserves exact branding — scale it with the width control (15–25% of video width works for most corner logos). A text mark is quicker for a handle, name or URL, rendered with a subtle shadow for legibility on any footage.
Placement strategy
- Bottom-right — the convention; least intrusive, expected by viewers.
- Center at low opacity — for preview copies you don't want cropped or stolen: a centered mark can't be cut off.
- Match the content — drag the mark away from where the action lives; the preview shows exactly how it sits.
FAQ
Should I use a PNG or text watermark?
PNG with transparency for logos and exact branding; text for a quick handle or URL. Both support opacity and free placement.
What opacity should a watermark be?
40–60% is the sweet spot — attributable but watchable. Go higher for client preview copies.
Where should I place the watermark?
Bottom-right is conventional; center at low opacity resists cropping for anti-theft protection.
Is my video uploaded to watermark it?
No — rendered in your browser. And we never add our own mark to anything.
